A private practice

Time, attention and care
that is entirely yours.

My practice is deliberately personal. Each client receives tailored care, unhurried attention and a relationship built on trust. Rapport takes time, and I give it the time it deserves.

Who I work with

Different lives.
The same depth of care.

You decide what we talk about.
My role is to make that space safe.

Training & expertise

Grounded in rigorous study.

Two master’s degrees inform how I work. My knowledge of health research helps me work thoughtfully with people who have complex health histories or presentations, where body, mind and life experience meet.

A little about Laura

Warm, engaged
and without judgement.

I trained in the UK and worked with clients worldwide before making Melbourne my home. I continue that international work today.

I am trauma-informed and committed to inclusive, non-oppressive practice. Whoever you are, you are welcome to bring all of yourself, including the parts of your life that others may have judged.

More about me
Trauma-informed by design

Safety comes first.

01 / Safety

Feeling safe enough.

We build a sense of safety together before going anywhere difficult, so the work never moves faster than you can manage.

02 / Choice

You stay in control.

You choose what to share, when and how much. You can pause, slow down or change direction at any point.

03 / Presence

Grounded in the moment.

Mindful, present-moment awareness helps you notice what you feel and return to steadiness when things feel overwhelming.

Safety & mindfulness in my work

Before we begin

Questions, answered.

Anything else is welcome too.
Ask Laura directly.

What are you like to work with?

I am warm and engaging, deeply committed to the people I work with, and open to talking about any topic without judgement. Rapport matters to me, so I take the time to understand you and to get to know who you really are. That isn’t rushed.

Do I need to know what I want to talk about?

No. You decide what we explore and when. You can begin wherever you are, including not knowing where to start.

Where do you work, and who with?

I trained and practised in the UK, working with clients worldwide, and now do the same from Melbourne, Australia. I work with clients across Australia and internationally. I do not currently work with clients based in North America.

How do sessions take place?

By video call or phone call. All you need is a private space where you won’t be overheard and a decent internet connection. That might be at home, at work or even in your car.

Do you accept insurance or Medicare?

No. This is a private, self-funded practice, and I don’t take insurance or Medicare rebates. Fees are shared on enquiry, and international clients can usually pay in their own currency.

Is it safe to talk about my identity, relationships or sexuality?

Yes. My practice is inclusive and non-oppressive. Whoever you are and whoever you love, you can bring all of yourself, including experiences where you may have faced discrimination.

Are sessions confidential?

Privacy and discretion are central to how I work. We agree how confidentiality works, including its legal and safety limits, before we begin.
